Apply & Get Reviewed
Submit your application through the form below. Spartan reviews your trade, coverage area, credentials, and portfolio. Review takes 3–5 business days. Every application is read by a person, not an algorithm.

Intro Call & Onboarding
A quick call to confirm how the system works, what to expect, and what Spartan expects from Plug trades. We go through the ClearScope™ format, the milestone payment structure, and site standards.

First Scoped Project
You get matched to your first ClearScope™-backed project. Drawings attached. Quantities confirmed. Schedule agreed. Show up, do the work, get paid on phase completion. Your score starts building from day one.

The Standard
Is Non-Negotiable.

The Builders Plug™ is not a directory. It’s a performance network. Trades who are in it got in because they meet the standard. Trades who stay in it keep meeting it. There is no shortcut to the Plug and no way to stay in it without delivering.

Missing credentials?

Insurance and WSIB are required before your first job. If you don’t have them yet, apply anyway — we’ll tell you what you need and help you get set up during the onboarding process.

Required before first job
  • General Liability Insurance (minimum $2M)
  • WSIB Clearance Certificate or equivalent
  • Relevant trade licence or Certificate of Qualification
  • Business registration or HST number

Who Can Apply

Companies, Individuals,
and Crews.

Option 01
Trade Company
Registered business, incorporated, or operating under a trade name. You take contracts and manage a team. Apply as a company and bring your crew.
Option 02
Skilled Individual
No company required — just you and your skills. Solo tradespeople, skilled labourers, and helpers. If you’re good at what you do, there’s a place for you.
Option 03
Team / Crew
You lead or represent a working crew. Multiple people, one contact. You take jobs as a unit and distribute within your team. Apply under the crew lead.
